Design Policy

Because my time is valuable (and so is yours!) I have come up with a few guidelines when I create designs for clients as well as some new pricing for 2008 to make things run as smooth as possible.

Design work now starts at $50; this includes my time to set up the design and e-mail you one proof and does not include any prints.  You may make up to three changes (color scheme, font, photo arrangement.  Spelling or typos don't count--those are freebies.) These three changes can be all at once or separate.  However, additional changes will be added to your original design fee at $10 per new proof.

Let me know what you're looking for before we begin.  Please be as specific as possible.  This includes letting me know what size, what kind of style (funky, classic, contemporary, grunge) and of course a color scheme.  If you have something you'd like to color match I can do that as well, I just need a digital photo or an image I can find online to match.  If you simply want me to create something and you have no preference, please remember the 3 changes rule!  If you see something I have created in the past and want a similar look, that's a great way to start, so let me know!

Depending on the size of the final print, there may be a limit on how many images that can fit in the design. For 5x7's please no more than 5 images.  Larger sizes can be a bit more flexible, but too many images can get busy and make the design difficult to flow.  We can discuss this prior to the creation of the first proof.

When you're ready to order:  Please let me know how many copies you would like as well as your mailing address.  When ordering cards I have them drop-shipped directly to you so I will need this information before placing your order. 

Last but not least, payment is required before your order is placed. If we are in a time crunch, the best way to pay fast is through PayPal.com... you can e-mail money directly to me or I can request it; just use meganphoto@gmail.com, otherwise you can mail a check to my home address.
